Each pair is felted by hand from New Zealand strong wool — naturally breathable, naturally insulating, and it holds its shape wear after wear. The flexible rubber sole adds grip and a little extra structure underfoot, without losing the softness that made the Gotland what it is.

Structured through the ankle, the Gotland shapes to your foot with wear. Worn barefoot, it moulds fastest and fits best over time.

Beyond disappointing!

The slippers aren't the issue. The customer support is. My 'chat' offered to help me find the style and size to suit my feet and I provided my foot measurements of 25.5cm. I was told that the EU 39 size would provide a 'snug, supportive fit'. They were a very 'snug' fit that hurt my toes but I assumed the advice had come from people who knew the product better than I did and that the slippers would mould to my feet. I persevered with trying to wear them until it became obvious the felt was not going to soften and were becoming increasingly painful to wear. I contacted Woolfi who said that EU 40 was, in fact, the correct size for the measurements I had supplied. This was their error but I couldn't return or exchange the slippers because they were no longer in unworn, original condition. This has been a very expensive mistake that was made by Woolfi, not me, and the 'goodwill' gesture of offering a 30% discount on buying a new pair will not be accepted. I will go elsewhere to purchase a pair of slippers that fit.

Light and comfy

The slippers are too tight around my feet. I am trying to stretch them but it’s taking a while. Disappointed in the fit but they are cosy.

Great fit, very comfortable, and oh so warm which is really important as we have concrete floors. Beautifully made, I especially like the rubber sole unlike other makes which are thick and tend to imbalance the foot. I also like that they are made in Nepal giving artisan workers there employment. And they come in a cute cotton bag, not just placed in a box.
Can't rate them highly enough.

Warm and comfy slippers

I can't believe how warm my feet are in these slippers! They are a very comfortable fit and the rubber sole is supportive while being non-slip. Really glad to have found these and recommend them.

Are your rubber soles flat? How do they compare to suede soles?

Yes — our soles are made from natural crepe rubber sheet and are flat rather than convex or domed. Unlike some moulded rubber soles that feel firm and rounded, crepe rubber is soft, flexible and designed to move naturally with your foot.

In feel, crepe rubber is quite similar to suede — it has a supple, slightly cushioned texture and will gently mould over time. The key difference is durability and grip.

Suede soles are beautifully soft and breathable, ideal for strictly indoor use on dry surfaces, but they can wear more quickly and don’t offer as much traction.
Crepe rubber soles provide the same comfort-led flexibility while offering added durability and light grip, making them more practical for everyday indoor wear.
