The following is a guide to determine your best fit in the Woolfi Range.

Choosing the right slipper size should feel simple and reassuring. Woolfi slippers are designed differently from many conventional slippers, so understanding how natural wool behaves will help you achieve the best long-term fit and comfort.

Our slippers are crafted from sustainably sourced New Zealand wool, which naturally softens and moulds to your feet over time. This means your Woolfis should feel comfortably snug when you first put them on.

  • Each slipper may vary in size depending on the style. Be sure to check the specific size chart measurements on the Woolfi product pages.

How Should Woolfi Slippers Fit?

Your Woolfi slippers should feel:

✅ Snug around the foot
✅ Secure at the heel
✅ Gently supportive without pressure points
✅ Comfortable to walk in immediately

It is completely normal to:

  • Feel your toes lightly touching the end initially
  • Notice a firmer fit at first wear
  • experience the wool softening after a few wears

Because wool naturally relaxes with warmth and movement, a closer fit at the beginning helps ensure your slippers do not become too loose over time.

How to find the best slipper fit

Make sure you measure your foot according to the above instructions or with our scanning tool.

Once you have determined your centimeter measurement according to the size chart/size option ensure you select the appropriate size variant.

Note: The scanning tool doesn't recommend this for you.

Women's sizing EU 37 - 40 are fairly true to size with Valais Slip-on being more generous fit. Please ensure you refer to the specific size meaurements on Valais size chart.

Mens EU 41 - EU 46 sizing is generous due to being unisex, therefore we do recommend sizing down from your usual size.  If you are between sizes, best to size down so you get a snug fit as they will mould to your feet overtime.

Common Questions:

Do Woolfi Slippers Stretch?

Yes — but gently and naturally.

Our wool fibres soften and adapt to the shape of your feet, creating a personalised fit unique to you. However, the felting process helps maintain the overall structure and durability of the slipper, so they will not overstretch or lose shape like some synthetic slippers can.

Between Sizes? Here’s What We Recommend

If you are between sizes, we generally recommend choosing the smaller size for the best long-term fit.

A slipper that feels slightly snug initially will usually soften beautifully with wear, while a slipper that feels loose from the beginning may become too roomy over time.

Wide Feet Guidance

Many customers with wider feet find Woolfi slippers extremely comfortable once the wool softens and adapts.

If you prefer:

  • a roomier fit
  • wearing thick socks regularly
  • extra toe space

you may prefer sizing up or choosing one of our roomier styles.

If you are unsure, our team is always happy to help guide you personally.

Using the Foot Scanner

Our foot scanner is a helpful guide, but a few things can affect your results, including:

  • wearing socks during scanning
  • standing unevenly
  • foot swelling later in the day
  • For the most accurate result:
  • scan barefoot
  • stand naturally
  • ensure your heel is aligned correctly

If you are between recommendations, consider how you prefer your slippers to feel — snug and supportive, or slightly roomier.

Wearing Socks with Woolfi Slippers

Wool naturally regulates temperature beautifully, so many customers enjoy wearing their Woolfis barefoot.

If you plan to regularly wear thick socks, you may prefer a slightly roomier fit. Thin socks generally do not require sizing adjustments.

What If My Slippers Feel Too Tight?

A firm fit at first is normal.

However, if:

  • your toes feel compressed or curled
  • the slipper feels uncomfortable after walking
  • pressure points develop
  • then the size may be too small.

We recommend trying them indoors briefly and contacting us if you are unsure before extended wear.

What If My Slippers Feel Too Loose?

If your heel slips significantly or your foot moves excessively inside the slipper, the size may be too large.

You can try:

  • adding the included insole
  • wearing slightly thicker socks
  • exchanging for a smaller size if needed

A secure fit will provide the best comfort and longevity over time.

Can I Exchange My Woolfi's If the Fit Isn’t Right?

Yes — absolutely.

We want you to feel completely comfortable in your Woolfis. If your slippers are not the correct fit, we offer easy exchanges within our return period, provided they are returned unworn and in original condition.

Please contact us early if you are unsure about sizing — we are always happy to help guide you to the perfect fit.

Our Philosophy on Comfort

At Woolfi, we believe comfort should feel natural, relaxed, and effortless.

Rather than creating overly structured footwear, we focus on:

  • soft natural fibres
  • thoughtful shaping
  • breathable comfort
  • and a fit that becomes uniquely yours over time

Every pair is designed to bring comfort to every step — naturally
